How to speak to plants and trees
How to speak to plants and trees 🌲
The closer we are to the natural environment the more we sense that livings things are joined together intrinsically by an invisible thread of connection, What would you think if I told you that I believe that we have lost the ability to speak to plants, because we have forgotten how to “communicate” in the first place.
So what does this communication look like ? Have you ever passed a house plant with its leaves looking withered and had the thought that maybe this plant is lacking an essential element like magnesium, water or perhaps needs to be closer to the light even though your thoughts were on another completely different subject, have you wondered that this was not your thought that dropped in the idea that it wasn’t happy, but it was the PLANT ITSELF. Most people know that singing or speaking to your plants and providing more tender care makes plants recuperate faster and we in return, receive more of a bountiful crop. The communication seems clear here, give a good dose of love to a plant like a child and plants respond back with health and vitality.
Relying on the natural world for our survival creates a co survival relationship. We help the plants with providing fertiliser, water etc and they help us with giving food and flowers, herbal remedies. Since the Industrial revolution we have moved en masse to the large cities and away from the natural world, we forgot this deep relationship and forgot how to communicate.
They say if we have the ears to listen and know what to listen for, then we can be more open to all the subtle energies around us. The key here is to realise that the natural world is connecting with us all the time but we just need the “ears” to listen to them. I believe that plants reach over to us through an invisible thread of energy to pop the thought into our energy field, Perhaps the more open and aware of the idea that your house plants are occupying your space like long lost friends than you would start to notice the more “vocal” of your beloved plants to steer you into a cooperative co survival relationship.
I have a method to speak to plants, I have tried it and got very interesting responses. I recently moved one of my house plants away from a corner spot as it wanted to be observed more, yes you read right OBSERVED MORE, perhaps it needed to be admired, I’m not sure, but strangely has grown quite a bit since the move. The key to listening is to be more open and receptive no matter what the response seems to be.
I have placed my method in the next paragraph. It helps to visualise that you are a receptacle of sorts, that the plant tree or shrub can place its response into. If you want to sit in a meditative posture then that is up to you. I just like to slow my breath down for about ten minutes then I start the communication because I believe plants are naturally a slower pace than us, you don’t need to say this aloud just in your mind.
Protocol to speak to plants and trees
1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF
3. SEND LOVING THOUGHTS ON HOW MUCH YOU LOVE THE TREE OR PLANT
4. ASK THE PLANT IF IT NEEDS ANYTHING FROM YOU ?
5. WAIT FOR A RESPONSE
The Key here is to trust what you see hear, feel, sense, and know and to not doubt it, don’t analyse it just receive it.
